Hey there! We’re Harrison and Melissa, the creators behind Inspiring Wilderness!

We started IW to catalogue the pictures & videos from the unique and remote places we visited, almost always realizing that the most special places are off the beaten path.

Exploring the more uncharted parts of the map quickly became an important part of our relationship and the more we explored, the more we fueled our passion…and then the more we felt inspired to share the beautiful wildernesses that inspired us with others.

This account was created from a love of the purest nature, most epic trails, and especially meaningful adventures. With every adventure is unique knowledge gained - many times from the wonderful people we meet along the way.

We prioritize paying it forward and want to be able to share any and all of the knowledge we’ve gained with you so that you can also have your own meaningful adventures.

We believe that exploring - whatever that means to you, is for everyone, whether you’re chasing your next summit or remote corner of the map, planning a relaxing & peaceful getaway, or simply looking for a place that makes you feel alive again.
